Gift Arts in Ethiopia is a $25,000 nonprofit, non-government organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women in the field of dance, music and performance arts and women in music and dance. The work of the organization is supported by an extensive and vibrant community of dance educators, community partners and social workers who are empowered to deliver programs geared at the dance school curriculum. From the Dance School in East Ethiopia to the Arts School in East Africa, award winners come in all fields of dance, pop, theatre, music and music production; from traditional dancers to modern dancers to folk artists, artists and performers to contemporary musicians and independent musicians.
