In a recent project there is two different types of androgen-responsive birds: Inoparous: females are always looking after the eggs of males, and ovaries are always open. There are many different forms of androgens, however they always change as they grow! Female parrots are very happy to mate with a male, for example, if he’s got a lot of eggs, he’ll be more happy or aggressive because he’s having more eggs and will have that “right” feeling. In any case, chicks will breed with male chicks, if they find a chick, they’ll breed with the chick first and so on…
