About the class and dates
The Pisa International Piano Masterclass & Competition is designed for professional pianists, including students of conservatories, music universities, specialized music schools, and talented young musicians pursuing a professional career in piano performance.
The course offers participants the opportunity to refine and deepen their repertoire, whether in preparation for examinations, competitions, concert performances, auditions, or artistic development. Particular emphasis is placed on technical refinement, stylistic understanding, and the development of an individual artistic voice. The Masterclass will take place over three days, from Wednesday, July 15, to Friday, July 17, 2026 in Pisa, Italy.

Competition and Concert Prize
At the conclusion of the course, participants will perform in a final concert and competition.
Upon the recommendation of Maestro Dr. Yossi Reshef and the Academy’s Board of Directors, the pianist who demonstrates the highest level of technical mastery, musical understanding, and artistic interpretation will be awarded the Concert Prize.
The prize consists of:
A certificate of distinction
A paid concert engagement with a fee of €250 in Pisa in the Teatro Verdi or Palazzo Blu.
The decision of the jury is final.

Application & Program
Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2026.
Please complete the application form and submit:
– A short artistic biography (CV)
– A link to a video recording available online of a piece/pieces of your choice (live performance or home recording of 5 to 20 minutes).
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance shortly after their application has been reviewed.
Participants should prepare repertoire for three lessons, including one piece for the final concert with a maximum duration of 10 minutes. The remaining repertoire is not subject to any time limit. Participants are welcome to work on the same piece throughout multiple lessons, or alternatively to present a single movement or a selection of shorter piano works.
Each active participant will receive three individual lessons of 60 minutes each.
The participation fee for the Masterclass is €400, including the registration fee. Participants are responsible for their own meals and accommodation.
